lamb curry and chicken tikka masala recommend!
The family/staff are just delightful. Very friendly, and polite. Lovely experience all around.
Can't wait to return! 😊
For the quality ! The mint chutney and korma were hands down the best I have ever had . The curry has so much flavor I could have kept eating it but then wouldn’t have had room for the fantastic garlic naan. This place is a must if you are in the area!!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at new Indian restaurant , an Indian restaurant that truly impressed me with its rich flavors and authentic dishes. From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and inviting aromas set the stage for an unforgettable meal.
The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the lamb dishes. The lamb curry was perfectly tender, slow-cooked in a fragrant blend of spices that brought out the deep, rich flavors of the meat. The lamb biryani was another standout—fluffy, aromatic basmati rice mixed with succulent pieces of lamb, perfectly seasoned and served with a side of cooling raita. Each bite was a delightful balance of spice and savoriness.
Beyond the lamb, the naan bread was freshly baked, soft yet slightly crispy, making it the perfect companion to soak up the flavorful sauces. The butter chicken and paneer tikka were also fantastic choices, showcasing the restaurant’s ability to craft both meat and vegetarian dishes with equal excellence.
Service was friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth dining experience. The menu offers a great variety, making it easy for both spice lovers and those who prefer milder flavors to find something they’ll enjoy.
Overall, if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Indian food, especially tender and perfectly spiced lamb dishes, this restaurant is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning for another round of their amazing curries and biryanis!
Menu offerings are diverse, food spiciness can be adjusted to your taste, bread options are great. Prices are reasonable.
The menu is a delightful fusion of traditional Indian flavors and contemporary twists, ensuring there's something for every palate. Whether you're a fan of rich, aromatic curries, tandoori delights, or more contemporary options, the food is prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. The spices are perfectly balanced, and each dish is a celebration of authentic Indian cuisine with a fresh, local touch.
Standout dishes include their signature butter chicken, which is wonderfully creamy and flavorful, and the lamb vindaloo, which delivers a perfect amount of heat without being overwhelming. The naan is fresh and perfectly fluffy, ideal for dipping into the flavorful gravies. For dessert, the kulfi is a delightful, cooling end to a meal that's both indulgent and refreshing.
The New Indian Restaurant also offers a wide range of drinks, including traditional lassis and a carefully curated selection of wines and cocktails that complement the bold flavors of the food.
Overall, it’s a place that combines delicious food, excellent service, and a cozy ambiance. Whether you're a long-time fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant will exceed your expectations. Highly recommend!
Hits perfect after a long work week.
The taste of the food is beyond what I expected. The different spices used in making this dish will awaken ones taste buds in a way that will delight your senses!
One of my favorite restaurants!
Updated still good.
And the buffet is back!! ❤️
They don't offer their buffet Monday through Thursday, but something similar that you can order for $17-18 is the Thali.
This is a Sampler platter that has about 10 items.
I came to there buffet about once a week from 2011-2019, it was always excellent.

The restaurant was very clean, and the ambiance was pleasant. Upon entering, I was greeted and guided to my table, which I appreciated. There’s ample parking available. I also had the chance to speak with the owner, who is the third-generation owner/operator of the restaurant. She mentioned that New India Restaurant was established in 1970 by her grant parents and has been running successfully ever since, which is a testament to their consistent quality. For comparison, Walmart was established in 1962 and Starbucks in 1971. Kudos to the New India team!
I hope the chef sees this review and adjust the dishes to serve the needs of Indian taste palettes instead of making everything bland for everyone!
Will definitely be coming back to try more things!
I also got the butter chicken, the chicken was soft, I can't eat a lot of spicy so my order was mild and it was so good, creamy sauce was so perfect especially the RICE! Rice wasn't dry at all! I can eat more and more rice here
Everyone at the restaurant was nice, it was a great Friday dinner!
There were some bugs flying around my food.
Korma chicken: 5/10 - the chicken was dry, but the sauce wasn't bad.
Bread Naan: 5/10
Mango Lassi: 7/10
My brother ordered the buttered chicken and rice and unfortunately it had hair in it. The Mango Lassi was tasty
Overall the staff was nice, and the laid back vibe of the restaurant was relaxing. It was just okay!
MUST TRY AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!
