KADAI CHICKEN

The KADAI CHICKEN is prepared in a karahi, which is a kind of wok often used in North Asian cooking, in order to get the authentic Indian flavor. Depending on the food, preparation and cooking time might range between 30 and 50 minutes.

It is cooked with chicken, onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, and freshly ground spices to create a delightful “KADAI CHICKEN” (known as Kadai masala). When you hear the phrase “Kadai,” you’re referring to a cast iron wok that’s often used in Indian cookery. Kadai, also known as Karahi, is a wok-like dish from the Indian subcontinent that is a kind of thick circular deep cooking pot that was traditionally fashioned of cast iron for stability on the stovetop. The important component in this delectable and fragrant cuisine is freshly ground Kadai masala, which is made from Indian spices and herbs and is used to season the dish.

New India Restaurant KADAI CHICKEN is well-known for its simplicity, which makes it a popular dish among people of all ages and backgrounds. Chicken pieces are cooked in a ‘Kadhai,’ which is a thick-bottomed pan. There is no additional water added during the cooking process. As the chicken pieces cook, they produce their own steam, which is supplemented by the steam produced by the onions that have been added. The distinct aroma of capsicum, as well as the mild spicy flavor of Kadai Chicken’s sauce, are both quite enticing. Kadai Chicken is a delicious accompaniment to naan, roti, chappathi, and almost all rice-based dishes.
